Where is Smithville Community of Christ located?

Our address is 19400 N US-169 Hwy, Smithville, MO 64089.

We are located on the west side of US-169 highway about 2 miles north of Smithville, MO.  Our building is easily accessible for those who may have more limited mobility.

What should I wear?

You are welcome to wear what is most comfortable.  There will be many dressed casual wearing blue jeans, sneakers, and casual shirt.  Others may be in their Sunday best. Wear what you like.  We are just glad you came!

What is worship like?

We understand that each person is looking for different things during worship services so expect variety. Services are planned by a variety of people and the service leadership and participants change from week to week, no two services will ever be exactly alike. There will be traditional and contemporary aspects in our services.  All will provide opportunity for you to share in music, scripture, and challenging words of hope, faith, and the love of Jesus Christ.

Is this a child-friendly congregation?

YES! Children are an important part of our congregational family. We cherish the ministry shared by persons of all ages, and this includes our children. You will find children participating in worship services through prayer, music, testimony, and focus moments. 

Classes are offered in-person Sunday mornings at 9:15 am for the following ages:

Preschool

Elementary School

Middle School

High School

Adults

Children are always welcome during the 10:00 am worship.
