Weekly Announcements:
- Thanks for all the donations to the Peace Pavilion – They will be turning it in on May 1 to see how much was raised.
- Bible Study group will meet at the church Wednesday, May 6 at 7 p.m.
- Mother’s Day, May 10th 8:45 a.m., the Men will be cooking breakfast for the Women. Everyone invited to join in the fun and celebrate the Wonderful Women.
- Monday, May 11 at 6 p.m. is our Women's Fellowship at the church.
- The Smithville congregation has been assigned to help with getting Camp Farwesta ready for the camping season by cleaning the Tabernacle and Dorms 1 and 2. Our congregation will take care of this assignment on May 17 after church. Contact Lori if you can help or need more details. We will need volunteers to help.
- The Camp Farwesta Caretaker House has been completed. Thanks for all the generous donations that made construction of this house possible.
- Vacation Bible School for Smithville is scheduled for July 27-30 in the evenings. If you’d like to help get ready for it or help during, please contact Whitney Lyons. Start saving toilet paper rolls and large cardboard boxes or large sheets of cardboard.
- Senior High CARAVAN this summer for students who finished 9th grade thru grade 12. Dates June 5 -16. Registration on Midlands MC website. More info will be available soon.
- We have links to register for all the camps, Youth Camps and Spectacular and Family Camp. Camp Dates and Fees for 2026 are:
- Children's Camp, June 5-6, $80
- Camp Haven, June 7-11, Free
- Junior High Camp, June 21-25, $300
- Family Camp, June 27-July 2, $185 per person
- Junior Camp, July 5-8, $235
- Spectacular at Graceland University, July 11-17, $500
